CLIQ provides higher security and greater flexibility than

building micro-electronics into the key and the cylinder No

resistance, picking and manipulation, copying of keys and
distribution of key blanks.

ELECTRONIC
FUNCTIONALITY WITH HIGH CLASS ENCRYPTION
Every ABLOY®
PROTEC CLIQ key has a double encoding: mechanical coding
on the blade and electronic coding on a chip in the bow.
The key blanks are
protected by patents and the electronic code is protected
by strong encryption.
This combination provides
high mechanical security, as well as maximum electronic security.
Inside each cylinder,
embedded in the metal, is another chip, corresponding to the
chip in the key, with the sole function of only giving access
to keys with the right electronic code.
